Destination Paris Downloads

Download The Mod (v1.40)
There have been a few earlier versions of the mod, but they have been updated for various reasons, and the current version is v1.40. This is the only version to use. You can download Commandos 2: Destination Paris v1.40 from any of the sites below. The mod is 267 MB, but worth it.

NOTE
If you have installed the Commandos 3 Mission Pack, then after installing the update, install this fix that will re-enable the Mission Pack!

Installing The Mod
1) Double click .exe that you have downloaded.
2) Follow the installer instructions, making sure you install it in the directory Commandos 2 is installed (Default = C:\Program Files\Commandos II). The installer will show you the path where Commandos 2 is installed anyway, in case it's wrong, you show him manually. The mod is now installed, as simple as that.

Note: If it's the first time you install the mod, you might be asked to confirm the moving of the comm2.exe, if prompted, simply click retry and a successfull backup of comm2.exe will be made in the "comm2.exe backup" folder which can be found in your Commandos 2 Main folder.

If you plan on playing the original Commandos 2: Men Of Courage after playing the mod (Without reinstalling Men Of Courage from the CD's), you will have to remember to replace (or rename, according to what you decided when installing) the comm2.exe.

Suggested Installation Order:
1) Destination Paris 1.40

4) (Tr3) Dark TerritoryV4 (in your main Commandos 2 Folder)

NOTE: this update will cancel all your progress in Destination Paris!

(NOTE: Since the graphical structure between C2 and C3 is different and the last one doesn't have the ma2 files that C2 does have, the buildings will not seem solid, which is much unaesthetical and I personally don't like it, plus the graphics aren't always nice (like in the getting to the engine and port missions) that is why the C3 mission pack is not automatically included in the mod, also note that if you install this, all your progress will be lost)

It will allow you to play at a custom widescreen resolution in 16:9, 16:10 or even the standard 4:3. The instructions on how to use it are very simple and are found when running the program.
